Welcome to Hotel Continental - Art Space in Exile!
Hotel Continental - Art Space in Exile is a Center of Contemporary Culture which supports artists seeking refuge from war or prosecution and offers spaces for art production of all disciplines. Our venue is open for local communities, social activists, cultural entrepreneurs and anyone interested in creating and sharing. The central mission of Hotel Continental is to support Ukrainians inside and outside of their country by building a cultural bridge between Germany and Ukraine.
Hotel Continental is located in a former piano factory in Berlin-Treptow. On more than 1.000 qm we organize and host concerts, theatre plays, performances, rehearsals, film-screenings, exhibitions, workshops, conferences, lectures, youth education and community projects.
We offer spaces for rent to host your events, to create or show your artistic work and to connect with the local audiences.

Hotel Continental is a hotel for art, education and culture: we offer artists work-spaces and a platform to produce, connect and educate themselves and present their work to the public. our history
The name “Hotel Continental” refers back to the Center of Contemporary Art “Hotel Continental” in Mariupol, where we together with our Ukrainian theatre-collegues worked until February 2022. The CCA “Hotel Continental” was completely destroyed in April 2022.
Our Hotel Continental - Art Space in Exile symbolically keeps the memory of Mariupol as a free Ukrainian city alive and connects the past with the future.
