Cooking for Ginault

Chef Tonio does not like compromises. His restaurant “Chez Tonio” strives for perfection – his guests and critics appreciate it. However, one famous food critic hasn’t visited yet: Ginault. Without his recognition all efforts are in vain.

Every evening the entire staff at “Chez Tonio” waits for Ginault; they work their hardest to deliver their best – but Ginault never comes. One day the new girl in the team, Anna, dares to question who this Ginualt is and if he actually exists. And that’s exactly when Ginault announces his visit.

Theatrical Fine Dining prepared live on stage - served by ogalala theatre with music, dance, and fresh homemade bread.

RADIATION

The exhibition “Radiation” by Stas Zhalobniuk, created in collaboration with the Odesa National Fine Arts Museum, arrives in Berlin — opening on October 24 at Hotel Continental - Art Space in Exile.

The project “Radiation” brings together a series of works created over the past ten years of the russian-Ukrainian war — Black Sea, Toxic, Marauders, and Big Data Algorithm.

For the artist, the war is not just about territory or power — it is about defending the right to one’s own story, language, and culture. This vision is closely tied to his native Odesa — once Kochubiyiv — a city whose history began long before the russian empire existed.

In his works Zhalobniuk shows that russian aggression has lasted far longer than it may seem and has always been aimed at erasing Ukrainian identity.

For the artist, the act of creation becomes a way to live through both personal and collective trauma — transforming pain into art.

Opening: October 24, 19:00

Exhibition runs through: October 24 – November 7

Jetzt sind wir mal dran!

An exhibition that presents and creates narratives

“Jetzt sind wir mal dran!” is an intersectional cultural project for women and girls who live – or have lived – in the Tegel Camp.

Since August 2024, the project has aimed to create spaces for self-determination, safety, and empowerment through art and body awareness. Using trauma-sensitive and agile methods, participants explored their voices and experiences through workshops in self-defense, dance, photography, stop-motion film, clay, and theater.

The Exhibition

The exhibition emerged from an urgent need to create safe spaces for self-expression and empowerment for women and girls living in the Tegel Camp. At the heart of the exhibition lies the idea of healing through imagination, collectivity, and sharing. Our goal is not to present a “final result,” but to make the ongoing project process a collective experience. Visitors are invited not only to observe but to participate — to enter a space where they can be present and leave a trace.

Through a series of workshops as well as the growing presence of new works created during the show, each participant and visitor becomes a co-author, adding their voice, movement, and story.

By inviting the public into this process, the exhibition becomes a space of exchange, recognition, and collective storytelling — a living gesture against silence and isolation.

14th–28th of November 2025

Opening: 14th of November, 6pm

Finissage: 28th of November, 6pm

Vernissage with live music by Vasylysa & Monica Mussungo, soli-cocktails by Blindspots and food by MONDAY KITCHEN

Curator Mariia Piletska writes:

“As someone who also carries personal experience of displacement and refuge, I see this exhibition as a gesture of care and togetherness. The ability to imagine is one of the first signs of healing from trauma. When a person can once again play, dream, and create — they begin to reclaim their life.”

PREMIERE: 21. November 2025 19:00 2nd Show: 23. November 2025 19:00

Have you ever noticed how history seems to repeat itself in circles? Have you ever wondered why the lessons of the past remain unlearned?

We invite you to the premiere of a post-documentary performance by Theatre Maysternya 55, created on the basis of three diaries – by Anne Frank, a Jewish girl writing during the German occupation of Amsterdam (1942–1945); Marta Hillers, a German journalist documenting the first weeks of the Soviet occupation of Berlin in 1945; and Volodymyr Vakulenko, a Ukrainian writer whose diary recounts the Russian occupation of the Kharkiv region in 2022.

Two historical periods, two wars. Three voices – the Girl, the Frau, and the Writer – who live, love, and dream in times of war. Three occupations and three diaries – so different, yet so similar. This is a dialogue between times – not about the past, but about what is happening now. About what happens to us. About what we cannot hide from or escape. About what has changed and what has remained unchanged.

Why does history move in circles? Why does the wheel keep turning?

Parking Spot // Oriole Nest

Ambient/ experimental electronics/ folk

Parking Spot is an electronic music project by Dnipro-based musician Marko Medvediev. His sound balances between ambient and experimental electronics, combining generative algorithms, field recordings, and complex rhythms.

Oriole Nest (Гніздо Вивільги) is the solo music project of folklorist Tetiana Osiń, who is also a member and co-founder of folk band Viltse. Their joint performance is a sonic journey where gentle ambient and slow electronics will intertwine with traditional Ukrainian vesnyanky (spring ritual songs) and lyrical melodies.

Saltfalls

Saltfalls is a 4-piece band based in Berlin in 2023. It started as a Ukrainian duo with an emphasis on synths and evolved into a full-scale project that blends dreampop, shoegaze and postpunk.

The band’s name originates from the striking natural phenomenon in Kalush, Ukraine, where potassium salt emerges and falls across the mining quarry’s terrain. This hometown connection is reflected in their music, with many songs inspired bythe city and their time spent there.

Ihor Tsymbrowsky

The headliner of the night and a living legend in Ukraine’s underground music scene is IHOR TSYMBROWSKY.

He is an architect, musician, poet and artist from Lviv/ Ukraine with a strong bond to Berlin where his live performances started with a concert series in Berlin clubs in 1995 and where his return to music began also in “Hoppetosse” in 2018. We are proud to welcome him back to perform in Berlin at the “Klikerklub Live Sessions”.
